Rumoured LEGO January 2025 selection looks different

Rumours for the LEGO sets coming in January 2025 paint a familiar picture but with a few key changes compared to earlier this year.

Reports for the January 2025 selection of LEGO sets are already starting to surface, most notably from Instagram user fateful_lego. They claim that the themes with sets on offer in January 2025 will include a similar selection to what was on offer earlier this year.

Thanks in no small part to the passage of time, we can compare exactly what we saw earlier in 2024 to what is currently rumoured for January 2025. Since the Instagram user’s NINJAGO January 2025 rumour list didn’t include mention of polybags, we’re not counting them in the following table either, not that they would change too much.

Looking at the comparisons, some themes are rumoured to be decreasing the size of their January 2025 range including City, Creator, Friends and Monkie Kid. Many are reported to be increasing the size of their waves though featuring NINJAGO, Star Wars, Disney and Sonic the Hedgehog.

It’s also worth noting that LEGO Harry Potter is rumoured to receive a selection in January next year when there was nothing immediately available in 2024 from the theme. Super Heroes is also reportedly adding a couple of models, though it’s not rumoured whether these are for Marvel, DC or both.

While all of this is to be taken with caution until the LEGO Group confirms what’s coming in January 2025, it’s interesting to see just what is rumoured to stay the same and what is said to change compared to January 2024.
