LEGO MASTERS panel confirmed for SDCC 2024
The LEGO Group has confirmed another panel for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, this time centred around LEGO MASTERS – with new updates on Season 5…
Brickmaster and LEGO designer Jamie Berard will be leading the LEGO MASTERS panel at SDCC 2024, which takes place in Room 6BCF at 4.30pm to 5.30pm PDT on Friday, July 26 (h/t The Brick Fan). He’ll be joined by former LEGO MASTERS USA winners, executive producers Brent Benedetti, Pip Wells and Robert May, and Endemol Shine’s Senior VP of unscripted content Michael Heyerman.
The panel description promises ‘tips, tricks and secrets to becoming a LEGO master’, along with updates on Season 5 of the US version of the show and the upcoming LEGO MASTERS Holiday Celebrity Bricktacular, which pits famous faces against one another for a seasonal special. The Brick Fan reports that this is a bigger room than last year’s LEGO MASTERS panel, so more fans should be able to attend.
LEGO MASTERS sees teams of two face off in competitive brick-building challenges, and while it started in the UK, the format has since been exported around the world. The US version is maybe the most high-profile, given it’s hosted by actor Will Arnett and features two well-known LEGO designers – Jamie Berard and Amy Corbett – as judges.
Season 4 of LEGO MASTERS USA wrapped up last year, and has even spawned its own LEGO set in 41838 Family Travel Memories. San Diego Comic-Con 2024 takes place from July 25 to 28. This is the second LEGO panel confirmed for the event, following a NINJAGO: Dragons Rising panel on Thursday 25.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
