Full LEGO January 2025 theme selection rumoured
We might now have a full overview of what to expect from the LEGO Group early next year from all themes including the number of overall sets.
Instagram user fateful_lego has followed up their latest NINJAGO rumour with a reported full look at the January 2025 set selection and it could be an expensive start to the year, despite the lack of prices rumoured at this time.
The rumour only includes the number of sets per theme for January 2025 but it’s still an exciting report that should undoubtedly be taken with caution in case some details are inaccurate.
Here’s a look at what’s rumoured for January 2025, including links to more detailed rumoured set lists where available. 126 sets are rumoured overall.
LEGO theme | Number of January 2025 sets rumoured |
---|---|
Art | One set |
City | 20 sets |
Classic | Three sets |
Creator | Eight sets |
Disney | Eight sets |
DREAMZzz | Six sets |
Friends | 19 sets |
Harry Potter | Seven sets |
Jurassic World | Two sets |
Minecraft | Five sets |
Monkie Kid | Two sets |
NINJAGO | 11 sets |
Chinese Traditional Festivals | Two sets |
Sonic the Hedgehog | Three sets |
Star Wars | Six sets |
Super Heroes | 11 sets |
Super Mario | Six sets |
Technic | Six sets |
Of the selection, the presence of three more Sonic the Hedgehog, two more Monkie Kid builds and five Minecraft models are interesting to see as it seems all three themes will continue in spades early next year. For Minecraft that’s not entirely surprising but it may be a welcome rumour for Sonic the Hedgehog and Monkie Kid fans.
Super Heroes is rumoured to be getting 11 sets in January and this could be split between Marvel and DC or taken up entirely by one or the other. Nothing more is rumoured at the time of writing but based on the ratio of Marvel to DC sets this year so far, it seems likely that they’ll consist of mostly Marvel models.
Otherwise, it seems to mostly be business as usual, at least according to the rumour which is to be taken with caution until more is officially confirmed. 2025 is still a long way away and we likely won’t know for certain what’s coming in January until much later this year.
