Every LEGO Icons set confirmed and rumoured for the remainder of 2024 – July update
We’ve almost got a complete picture of the LEGO Icons line-up for 2024, so here’s a reminder of what’s confirmed and rumoured for the rest of the year…
The only LEGO theme targeted exclusively at adults, LEGO Icons is the home of 18+ sets big and small – from the Botanical Collection, Modular Buildings Collection and vehicles to The Lord of the Rings, PAC-MAN and Transformers. This year has already seen a few bumper releases, including 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-Dûr and 10332 Medieval Town Square, but there’s plenty yet to come.
Keep reading for a reminder of all the LEGO Icons sets either already confirmed or currently rumoured to be landing on shelves in the second half of 2024. Information on rumoured sets comes from sources including itavixbrix, Brick Clicker, 1414falconfan and Falconbricks. You’ll find a complete list of all LEGO Icons 2024 sets – including those already released – at the bottom of the page.
10335 The Endurance Ship
Price: $259.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: November 29, 2024
This year’s flagship Black Friday release is said to be 10335 The Endurance Ship, a large-scale recreation of the vessel in which Sir Ernest Shackleton set sail for the Antarctic in 1914. The ship became stranded in polar pack ice in January 1915, and by November that year – following 10 months of turbulence – had sunk altogether. This would be the cheapest Black Friday set we’ve seen for a good few years at only $259.99.
10339 Winter Hot Air Balloon Ride
Price: $99.99 Pieces: 1,440 Release date: October 1, 2024
The annual LEGO Winter Village set is currently rumoured to be called 10339 Winter Hot Air Balloon Ride, and is thought to feature a hot air balloon, Christmas tree, post box and winter house. The LEGO Group has perfected its hot air balloon design in recent years with purposely-designed pieces, and the result is a relatively small affair – so it’s not hard to imagine that the majority of this set’s budget would be consumed by the ‘winter house’ building.
10350 TBC
Price: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: December 1, 2024
Very little is known about 10350 beyond that it’s apparently supposed to hit shelves on December 1, just in time for Christmas. Last year, that release window brought us 10326 Natural History Museum a month ahead of schedule – so 10350 could well be the LEGO Group’s latest modular building, sticking to its new festive tradition of a pre-Xmas debut.
10368 Chrysanthemum
Price: £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 278 Release date: August 1, 2024
One of two new LEGO Botanical Collection sets confirmed for release next month, 10368 Chrysanthemum sits somewhere between LEGO Icons 10311 Orchid and LEGO Creator 40725 Cherry Blossoms in terms of size, scope and budget. It’s a more wallet-friendly entry point to this blooming collection, but still doesn’t compromise aesthetics, detail or (as with all these sets) neat part usage.
10369 Plum Blossom
Price: £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 327 Release date: August 1, 2024
Arriving on the same day and at the same price as 10368 Chrysanthemum is 10369 Plum Blossom, another affordable addition to the LEGO Botanical Collection. This one represents something really unique for the theme in terms of composition, almost looking like something otherworldly, and like the Chrysanthemum comes with its own brick-built pot.
10370 TBC
Price: TBC Pieces: 608 Release date: October 2024
Details on 10370 are thin on the ground at this stage, but it’s shaping up to be on the smaller end of the LEGO Icons scale at 608 pieces. Given its October release date, it could be a companion to the new Winter Village set – or it could be something else entirely. Either way, it’s refreshing to see 18+ sets continue to come in at smaller and cheaper price points.
10391 Moments Space
Price: TBC Pieces: 966 Release date: September 2024
This long-rumoured LEGO Icons set was once believed to be another Classic Space resurgence (following in the footsteps of 2022’s 10497 Galaxy Explorer), perhaps hooked to Blacktron, but is now said to actually be a tie-in set for the upcoming LEGO Pharrell Williams biopic Piece by Piece. We’re not too far away from its supposed release date now, so a full reveal should be on the cards within the next month or so.
10392 TBC
Price: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: TBC 2024
The most mysterious LEGO Icons set on this list has no price, no piece count, no name and no release date beyond ‘2024’, so chances are it’s either going to be a surprise drop out of nowhere or it’s been cancelled/pushed back to 2025. It’s nice to have at least one slot in the portfolio where pretty much anything could happen, though.
40729 James Caird Boat
Price: Free with 10335 The Endurance Ship Pieces: 232 Release date: November 29, 2024
Black Friday sets are typically accompanied by a thematic gift-with-purchase, and 10335 The Endurance Ship will seemingly be no different. 40729 James Caird Boat is expected to recreate the smaller vessel that Shackleton and a crew of five men used to sail for help after the Endurance sunk. No word yet on whether it will include all six minifigures, though.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
