LEGO Star Wars 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship recolours are here
75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship has only just arrived, but already one member of the LEGO Star Wars community has come up with alternate colour schemes for the squadron-specific troop transport.
The LEGO Group has taken an unorthodox approach for its first minifigure-scale Republic Gunship in a decade, swapping out the traditional white, dark red and lime green colour scheme we’ve seen three times before for a predominantly dark red reskin, inspired by an obscure episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. That’s cool for anyone tired of the same old vehicles, but bad news for newer fans hoping for a classic take on the gunship.
Not to worry, though: the LEGO Star Wars community has already come to the rescue, and in particular Instagram user HP Bricks, who’s so far rustled up five alternate colour schemes for the latest iteration of the LAAT/i. Those include: the original version from Attack of the Clones we all know and love; a 104th Wolfpack (‘Plo’s bros’) edition; a yellow-tinted Partisans gunship from Jedi: Fallen Order; and two inspired by Hasbro releases (one with black highlights, another in lime green).
According to HP Bricks, these colour-swapped builds use completely legal building techniques – as you’d imagine, given they mostly mirror 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship in construction – and pieces that exist and are available to buy. So while their models have all been created digitally in BrickLink Studio, you should be able to track down the necessary elements and put them together for yourself.
That will be made all the easier when the builder publishes parts lists and/or instructions for their models, which they say will be available through Rebrickable later this month. Keep your eyes peeled for those, and in the meantime you can prepare by picking up a copy of 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship – there will likely still be plenty of elements in there that you’ll need for the recoloured versions, so it’s as good a place to start as any.
75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship is available now for £129.99 / $139.99 / €139.99, and includes 1,083 pieces and five minifigures of Commander Fox, two Coruscant Guard Clone Troopers, Padmé Amidala and Chancellor Palpatine.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
