LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 is starting soon
You can start submitting designs for the second series of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program sooner than you might have expected.
From May 15, just three months after submissions for the first series opened, BrickLink has announced that submissions for the second series will open.
The first series started its voting with 375 designs and a notable number of models based on retro themes.
The FAQ for the new, permanent BrickLink Program states that around three series are to be held per year, meaning multiple will be held at once. The main page also confirms that the third series will open for submissions in September 2023 – that’s four months in comparison.
Those wanting to partake in the second series will be able to find the palette available now in Studio so get those models ready for May 15.
The first series of the BrickLink Designer Program used an emoji-based voting system and there were some impressive builds as part of the selection. The first series is currently in the review phase and the five designs moving to the crowdfunding round will be announced in early May, possibly before the second series starts.
